Was playing around with my pedalboard going into the Axe the other day and got this idea: On the Ultra, you have 4 LEDs indicating input strength (don't know on the II but principle remains the same). Could the firmware recognize that when your signal reaches a certain threshold, let's say, the 4th LED, the null filter block on the first spot in the grid would go off bypass automatically to give the amp block an extra push of let's say, 6db? Then when the signal is below the certain threshold, the null filter block would go back into bypass mode. 6db could be 12db if you want, that's your call, but many people here do use the filter block as a simple booster at the start of their patch. Would this be possible?
