Authentic Presence Control?

The release notes state: NOTE: Any presets created with earlier firmware versions will have the Presence Frequency parameter reset to 1.0.

Is 1.0 the nominal setting for all amp sims?

If not, how do you initialize the frequency parameter per amp? I tried selecting a new amp type and re-selecting the original but the parameter stays at 1.0. Tried double clicking bypass and got the same result.

To go back to 7.0 settings set pres/depth = active pres, otherwise it will be on "passive".

Oh wait I got it...."The Presence Frequency parameter is now a frequency multiplier"....this confused me at first....so if I am understanding that right 1.0 is nominal.


Thanks Luke, I noticed setting the parameter back to pre 8 was an option.
