Aurora borealis could be visible in wide swaths of continental US, Europe on Saturday because of large solar flare

Think that's what it's been rated since I heard about it, if I'm not mistaken.
Seems this is a new CME that left the Sun on Nov. 2 according to the press release I quote above.

"Only days after the last coronal mass ejection (CME) from the surface of the sun, with resulting aurorae, it’s time for a new one! This bump-up in activity is expected as Solar Cycle 25 continues to ramp up. On November 2, 2021, a solar flare in the now-visible sunspot region called AR2891 launched another CME toward Earth."

I'm too far south to see it, but I was out very early this morning and saw Venus, Mars, the Moon, Jupiter, & Saturn all in a row! Coolest thing I'd ever seen, next to looking at Mars through an old Naval Academy telescope, and being able to see its polar cap.
