Auralex Gramma Pad for the neighbors?

Guys,

I've found that using floor speakers can annoy the downstairs neighbors. Low frequencies, mainly.

Can Auralex Gramma Pads under my floor monitors help reduce the sounds my downstairs neighbors hear?

A bit but not much. This bass frequencies are still flying out the front of your speakers and rattling everything they touch. They mostly help with desk noise.

Any other ideas, other than iso-cabs for the floor monitors?

I do think grandma's pads might help a little bit because at least they're reducing the direct coupling with the floor. But...

If your neighbors are game for some testing, start by literally lifting the speakers off the ground while playing and see if it changes anything.
