Sorry if this has been gone over before, I tried searching but couldn't come up with anything re: this exact scenario. This may be more of a general question on linking devices with digital connections, but would it work to connect a preamp like the Audient ASP800 with the AFIII via ADAT->S/PDIF? Would this give me access to all of the ins on the ASP800 individually in my DAW? Looking to record a drum kit and use some of the AFIII's world class comps and verbs while tracking, but I'm not terribly familiar with the way these digital connections work and how the AFIII handles them.
