Fractal Fanatic
I'm quite satisfied with my two external expression pedals. They're far from Fractal or Mission quality, but they fulfill my needs. They're simple Boss EV-5 pedals. They're also very light, which I appreciate when packing and moving gear.
But they're so light in fact that they are constantly moving around on the floor. That might be somewhat ok, except that I sometimes want to use both pedals at once with one foot (of course), for example to sweep at knce both expression values up or down. For that kind of single foot dual-pedal action, I need the darned things to be staying in place, close and parallel to each other. Light pedals that move around are frustrating.
So, I'm thinking of attaching them to one another. My first thought is to MacGyver an aluminum connection plate fastened to the underside of both pedals. But I'd want it to be easily detachable without tools for packing and moving for setup and teardown. Glue would be a permanent connection, and there's no room for wingnuts under a pedal, so... That's where my early MacGyvering is at.
Anyone here ever done that? Any ideas for fastening securely without needing tools to dismantle?
Looking for ideas.
Thanks in advance
