ARTURIA mkII keylab and fm9 problems

I have replaced my audio interface with my fm9. I use Logic Pro X and use my ARTURIA Keylab Mkii to play virtual instruments, but since I have switched to the fm9 using it as the audio interface, when I am playing my keyboard through logic and have fm9 on and fm9 edit open, while I am playing my keyboard, it plays like normal then a bunch of random notes start playing. This doesn’t happen in the stand alone instruments in the same scenario, just when using logic. I have contacted ARTURIA but so far haven’t been very helpful. Has anyone had issues like this with a keyboard and using fractal audio?

I haven't seen that specific problem, but this will probably fix it:

Logic -> Settings -> MIDI -> Inputs -> uncheck FM9

Nice simple fix, but I don't get why it works. Is the FM9 spitting out random midi notes? Why? Can that be turned off at the source, the FM9 itself?
