Are XL patches comparable with XL+?

To you awesome Ax Fx helpsters out there Just got an XL+ , can an XL patch be loaded in an XL+ With no issues?

Cliff: So eventually we came up with XL+. Functionally the XL+ is identical to the XL. The sysex ID is 7 vs. 6 for the XL. Presets are cross-compatible and new versions of Axe-Edit and FractalBot will automatically convert presets created on one to work on the other by changing the sysex ID and recalculating the checksums.

The general consensus seems to be that XL and XL+ patches are interchangeable. There may be things like external controllers in the patch that you may not have available on your XL+ that would need to be edited to work properly - for example, a volume block that has its overall gain controlled by an external expression pedal.

I recently swapped over. Seems the XL+ reads anything I have made on earlier Axe Fx II rigs. I don't think the reverse is true, though... XL and XL+ presets won't work on the first IIs, as far as I know. That's from memory, my II was gone when the XL+ arrived so I never actually tried it.
