Are old p[resets transferable to axe 2

Im sure its been asked but a search turned up nothing . Can my old ultra presets be used in the new ultra ? If so will they just load or is it a hassle to do ?
 
No.

You can run 2 instances of Axe-Edit and compare and enter settings.

This is key. While it's tedious to recreate patches from your G1 unit, it's useful to reconsider how to achieve the desired timbre within the new context of the G2 modeling.

The good news is that dialing in the AFX2 tends to be quite a bit easier than on the G1 models.
 
I am in the process of re-creating my favorite own Ultra presets on my brand new II (see http://forum.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-ii-preset-exchange/40400-some-new-presets.html).
And I can say that:
- For some presets it is just easy,
- But for other ones it is much more complicated,
- Some need only an EQ adjustment,
- And some require deeper work (the Damp parameter has a high impact and is very useful on some but not on others),
- For some, I have yet to find the correct sound...

So I hardly imagine that an automated processing would do the job.
