Anyone using a Digitech Drop?

I have one and it sounds great when engaged but noticeably muddy when bypassed. Obviously, when unplugging the guitar from the Drop and going straight into the Axe it sounds right. Tried a couple different cables and that's not the problem. The Drop is true bypass and the only pedal I use going into the AxeFx. Anyone else use one and notice this difference?
 
I use one and I never noticed it being muddy when bypassed. I did however notice a very slight volume difference when the pedal was engaged though. This was compared to the H9 using the pitchflex algorithm as well.

Maybe you could try running the drop in the fx-loop and see what that sounds like?
