anyone ever create a bass guitar tone?

I have to play bass on one song a night. Have any of you tried to create a bass patch that you could just play your guitar and make it sound like a bass rig?

I'd be very interested to know too. I guess you'd start off with the Jazz model and go from there.

Try using one of the bass amp models and then use a pitch shifter.

I think he means a patch that detunes a guitar down to bass range.
