Anybody using AxePad?

Thinking about buying a refurbed iPad or Mini and using AxePad for programming. I know they need to update for compatibility with v10.1* but they say it's on the way. Anyone care to sell me or discourage me on the idea?
 
Other than lemur costing $60 and your Xe fx still having to be plugged into a computer there are no negatives. I hear its more stable and really user friendly than axe edit.
 
If I'm not mistaken, I believe AxePad is a stand-alone app, whereas the Axe for Lemur template requires the Lemur platform.
