Hey guys, hoping you can help me. My band has decided to do Rod Stewart's - Do You Think I'm Sexy... DON'T LAUGH!
I am trying to cop a workable faux synth tone with my standard. It is a basic single note phrase. I have been playing with the pitch shift using 1 voice +1 octave, some chorus and flanger. It sounds OK, but not great. I am using my Jackson PC-1 with sustainer, so this helps with the overall effect.
I know I am limited with the std not having synth capabilities. Anyone have any other ideas on effect chains I might try?
