Sounds like you want to export a preset? Multiple ways, but maybe the most obvious is AX8-Edit->Preset->Export Preset.

First: there is no such a thing like a "dumb question"

Second: like biskitboy already said, there a lot of ways to export the presets into a "syx" file. After that you can just save that file anywhere, send to someone or upload here in the forum

I uploaded a preset and marked it as high gain. To me high gain is late eighties early nineties whitesnake mötley crue and such. Please check it out.
