Analog Tap pedal to control Tempo?

is it possible to use an analog tap tempo pedal (standard momentary switch) to tap in tempos on the Axe3?

I realize the best option a midi controller, but at the moment, that’s not a possibility.

Yes. Use the Pedal port. The Owners manual explains.

Simply set “Tap Tempo” to Pedal 1 (or 2) in the Setup > Midi menu.
