Analog Drive Pedals in front of Axe III to get better FEEL, who else is doing this?

I've done 5 full lengths, 5 EPs, and some singles and guest spots/producing here and there. Im the writer/producer type, I consider myself more of a singwriter than a guitar player. Thats why I love the fractal, recorded tones all the time, no noisy amps that I was always fighting to get the eq the way I wanted live. Sounds like the record in my living room 🤘

Add a variety of IR's and you can take those farther. It was fuzz that moved me to the axe III, so far so good.

I m in these type of sound mood these days, I have done a bunch of extreme fuzz presets like these . Did you tried the behringer super fuzz ? For the price it’s really fun. I still don’t have bough the fuzz war. Maybe one day . I have bought the flatiron fuzz from ehx and it’s really interesting sounding . They say it’s a rat but “better” and I have to agree . The day I tried the 3 rats I was not very pleased .

It’s fun . Sometimes and most of the time, I tried to have the most tight and clean metal sound, and then I want to do the most dirty thing ever 😅. Maybe that’s why I still play music after all this years . Changing moods helps . I cannot play with the same sound everytime
 
I havent tried any actual fuzz pedals aside from the fuzzrocious heliotropic. Iirc the preset I used there is a treble booster into a cranked AD200 with a trainwreck tonestack. It’ll do til we get the sunn model T ;)
