Amp sim help needed

Hi Friends

I have and play through an Old Silvertone and an Old 57 Magnatone model 280. I really would like to Model/Emulate these on the Axe but not sure where to start and what amps and cab's to work from . Don't want to tone match since i never had really much success with it.

Can anyone help me since these amps aren't modelled and what mod's would i have to make to existing amps and cabs that are close so i can exactly mimic them.

First thing, try to find a cab that's close as that's a huge percentage of the sound!

Redwirez has a Supro Thunderbolt S6420 • Jensen 15", if that's close to yours?

As to amp models it depends on what you models you have (model #'s etc)?

I would try to shoot some IRs of your Cabs/speakers, if possible first. Or try to find some professionally done IRs of your Cab/speakers.

Then do a 'Live' Amp Match using an amp model that is closest to yours. 'Live' "Amp Matching" is different that a typical 'Tone Match' and is crazy close.
