AM4 V1.02 Release

how often are we seeing FW updates on the AM-4? Just got one and kinda thought we’d be beyond 1.02…considering Axe III updates happen constantly. Not complaining. Just asking.
The modifications and updates in the AM4 V1.02 are up to date and consistent with the Axe-FX III V31.03 as applicable. The two are not on the same release schedule.

Again - I’m not complaining. I’ve had axe before and the updates were insane. Just wondering the speed of them for this product. Thanks!

Not sure about this being a bug or not...
I have modifiers on the Amp's 8 band EQ, I use a pitch follower on the 125 and 250 Hz bands to get more meat as I move up the neck.
This works well but on occasion it will warble when I play loud chords...it needs some sort of smoothing?

Looking at the Amp's EQ page the faders on those bands go up and down at maybe 60 times a second and produce a warbling sound when I play a power chord...and it doesn't always happen.
Next time I get my laptop connected I will see if can use the expert mode in the modifier page to mitigate this...

Pitch detection with a chord will probably not provide great results... What pitch would it detect?

I’d like to share a couple of feature requests that I believe would make the AM4 even more versatile and user-friendly. Hopefully these can be considered for a future update batch:

1. Scene +/- Assignment to Pedals 1 and 2
- It would be extremely helpful if the Scene increment/decrement function could be directly assigned to Pedal 1 and Pedal 2.

2. Amp Boost Status Display in Scene Mode
- When switching scenes, it would be great to have a clear indication of whether the Amp Boost is currently ON or OFF.
- This visual feedback would make it easier to

Thanks for considering, and I’m excited to see how the AM4 continues to evolve!

I think Leon did a video on using the pitch follower modifier attached to the 125 Hz and 250 Hz bands in the Amp EQ section...it was using an FM9 and I used that on my FM9 with great results...it produces a fatter sound as you move up the neck on leads....
I use a range of approx. 0 Db to +6 Db.
As it works well on the FM9 I assume it should be the same on the AM4 and it does but on occasion with power chords it starts to warble and if you go to the 8 band EQ page of the Amp block on AM4 edit you can visually see the faders move up and down rapidly when it does do that.

You're also playing chords on the FM9 when using it?

Absolutely....I just adjusted the update rate on the pitch modifier from slow to fast and so far that has fixed it...I will see if it stays fixed...

After playing for a few minutes I can still hear it on occasion but it is much more subtle and the visual of the faders bouncing up and down is not happening anymore...so close to fixed but not quite...
Also I just changed to an 8 band constant Q from the variable Q and that seemed to help some more but still not quite there...but usable.

Doing some more troubleshooting on it and all of a sudden when I was looking away this screen appeared on the AM4 itself...I had never seen it before and can't find a way back to it on the unit.
