Hi guys,
Just posting a link to a few teaser tracks off my bands upcoming debut album, it's out shortly on CD/ LP via Nuclear Winter Records and Blood Harvest Records. Hope you enjoy, it's on the darker side of things so not for everyone. It was recorded in February so it was version 9 at the time.
Paramnesia | Altars
For those who want to know, the gear was:
Axe FX II
- Bogner Uber for Rhythm tones
- Plexi for cleans (and by cleans i mean clean-er)
- OCD drive with delay/ verb as a lead boost, there's also a wah that appears on one track (not uploaded).
Fryette 2:90
- Running stock KT88's
Cabs:
Orange PPC412
Marshall 60a cab (an old JCM800 one)
As far as Mic's go it was predominantly a 57 and a ribbon, there was a bit of different stuff in the mix also.
Guitars:
'90 Ibanez Universe UVBK
'91 Ibanez Universe UVPWH
90's Fender Telecaster Custom
Some other interesting items that were used:
- Marshall micro stack (as in the toy), distance mic'd in a hallway
- Orange 1x12 loaded with an Eminence Patriot, again hallway/ distance mic'd.
- A very ancient 'Vadis' head, an old Australian made guitar amp that lived in the studio, used it for a clean part.
