Lovely, you can't go wrong with a Makita, unless of course it's a Chinese replica.

I can think of a smell that beats it. And you don't need to be too careful with your fingers either... :devilish:

I like that saw and came real close to buying it a few times. You guys must get a better deal over there on the Makita stuff, in the States Dewalt and Milwaukee are the one to beat for the money on Dual bevel sliding compound miter saws.

I have the exact saw and have had it for about a year now. I love it. I bought it to replace the older double compound hitachi sliding compound saw I used on jobsites for over a decade (loved that too). The makita seemed to stay with that design as the newer hitachis made changes I didn't like.

Enjoy it! Double compound comes in handy when you need it - as does the slide. It cut all the crown, casing, base and shoe in my entire home.

I know I will get so much use out of this one,
and sure enough I will have to watch them fingers ..

I got it for a very good price from a buddy that is a Makita reseller,
he bought 10 of them and sold them quickly, and I got the last one
for a good price



it will be a perfect complement to my bandsaw
