AES input jack missing plug lock

I've had my Axe Fx 3 for over a year now without a single problem, but one just popped up. I just started using the AES input and found out the hard way that the AES input jack doesn't have a lock for the plug. The Faslink jack has one, but nothing on the AES jack. The plug pulled right out with just the weight of the cable and vibration. Is it just my unit, or is everyone missing this lock? All of my other equipment with AES has locks on the female jacks. It really needs to be there.

I don't have one either. I thought it was a bit weird when I first started using it but it hasn't bothered me since I have no need for it live and the jack stays attached just fine at home.

Hmm. Mine doesn't have one either. I don't use AES so I never noticed that before.

Why did you design the AES interface so connecting a cable to the output locks in place, but connecting to the input doesn't?

One hour and $3 later, I have a proper locking jack in place. No more surprises...
