Activate Delay block for single notes to trail off while playing?

Wishing to setup an IA switch to momentarily send single notes to a parallel Delay block. Got as far as momentarily turning on the Delay block but the delay tails don't keep going when I release the switch as the block is bypassed.

Any thoughts on how to achieve this?

Change the Bypass state of the Delay block to "Mute FX in" and it'll let the tail keep going when you release the switch.
