When you click on "Whats new", there's a list of new stuff. Underneath those there's a section of "latest profile posts". I can't find how to view the thread wherein those posts are located. No link. Is that normal? Is that a shortcoming of the UI? Is it a mac thing?

Like the underneath. I'd like to see what the "swing percentage" refers to. How do I jump to that thread?

They're in the profile of that user, not in any forum.
 
it's just a public direct message, a post on their profile.

you could try the search function for "swing percentage"

It's not a direct link to the thread, but it will get you there.

Click twice on the user name;

Then you will see the Profile posts for that user. Then click on Latest activity;

Then you will see what Admin M@ was referring to and you can click on the link to the thread and you can scroll down to see the post.
