Wish Ability to select which DynaCabs are loaded on the hardware

The FM3 Dynacab capacity is tapped out. The other units still have room for cabs but not the FM3.

It would be nice if we had the ability to delete a Dynacab we don’t use and replace it with another cab. Like moving a preset into an occupied space.

An example would be to exchange the 1 X 8 5F1 Tweed for the new Scholz cab.

I think it's a valid request, and could be possible. I would love to have the Scholz cab in my FM3.

But, getting there would probably require reworking the firmware and Edit/Fractal-Bot and possibly the structure of the DynaCab file.

I think the FM3 deserves it, but who knows where that sits in the list of priorities.

If there was a DynaCab that nobody uses, that might maybe be possible. But thats hard to find out.
I am too really interested in that Scholz cab. But I fear, I have to accept the limits of owning just the smallest FAS produkt.

Actually that cab is also available in the FAS store so at least we can access to it. Buying cab packs rarely and if it can't be done I guess I'll wait for a "Black Friday" offer. Seems a real asset that Scholz cab. Anyway, we're already such lucky asses with all these incredible firmware updates for free. Wait and see, one never knows.

This is true. Maybe it should be an option. Default or User Dynacabs. This is just wishful thinking anyway but if the big dogs ran out of space then maybe this could happen.

You are right on the updates. This last one is great. There are amps I tried and passed by before and now they’re keepers. I bought the Scholz cab pack. The onboard cabs are better to me because you can make quick little adjustments. I really like that. So I wish there were more to choose from.

I only use 3-4 amps, what is a lot already, just not to have the "salamander on a scottish blanket" effect. Never tried but I think that with cablab4 and the snapshots of the FM3 quick adjustments must be possible with external dynacabs.

Not sure what salamander on a Scottish blanket means but I like it. Cablab works great but it’s not the same as the onboard cabs. You can’t play live with it because of the lag. I run a loop while adjusting. Then you export a regular IR which can be Ultrares or standard but it’s fixed. It can’t be adjusted without going back into Cablab.

+1 to this. Not sure if it's possible to get this programmed in but would be amazing! It would be a good incentive for more people to purchase dynacab packs. Currently I have no desire to get the dynacab packs because I don't feel like messing with Cab Lab

Great idea to be able to import purchased packs! It would only be a subset of the pack but you are right about the incentive to buy packs. Of course they (FAS and other vendors) would need to create more packs that don’t exist already. I like Cablab but it isn’t convenient to use like the onboard dynacabs. I’ve bought 3 packs but don’t use them because the onboard cabs are so easy to work with.
