My favorite time of day. The kids are sleeping. My wife is out with her friends, I have a tall ice cold pint (almost a pint...) of Guinness and I'm about to solve some issues with my beloved II and my bastard ass Pro Tools 9 software.

I love it... I may even get to record some tracks tonight.

Dude, are you using the outs on the AXE and going into one of the non-preamp inputs on your 002?

No. I am trying to do away with my 002. I would like to do all of my recording and mixing using my II as my main interface.

Well the AXE is probably limited as a true interface for recording no? Do you have external mic pre's?

I still have my 002. I use Superior Drummer for my drums, Axe II for guitars and bass, I can use my 002 when I have to for vocals when needed.
