A2 new user...trying to hook up via USB: Can't update software

Ok....here is what I've done

1. Hooked A2 via USB to computer
2. Downloaded USB driver (MAC) via Fractal Site
3. Clicked on the USB Driver Package to install
4. Fresh Download of Axe-Edit
5. Set Midi In/Out on 1st page to Axe-II

When I go to update the software...I find the saved file (is there a subset of that file I should use?)....before clicking file I hit the UPDATE on the A2. Get error message that new software has not been installed.


Has to be dumb thing I'm missing but I'm slow w/ the computer hookups...

Please help

Have you checked the firmware version number on the Axe-Fx II? I get error messages, but the firmware was installed correctly.
