Let me tell you, it was REALLY depressing growing up in the same area as Paul and taking lessons from the same guitar teacher. It was impossible to ever think you were any good when you'd go into the local music store and see Paul (he's probably 5 years younger than me) absolutely shredding. Even as a kid, he had alien fingers (length and speed). At one point, just before Randy Rhoades died, the store brought him in for a clinic when Ozzy was playing Pittsburgh. After the clinic, they had Paul play for Randy (he was probably 10 or so at the time). I forget his exact words, but when he was able to finally speak after being slackjawed, he muttered something hoping he was retired by the time Paul got older. He is an absolutely terrifying guitar player.
