a stupid question about wah

Hi,
I've an exp pedal with a toe switch connected to the fc12. I use it as volume and when switched it turns to wah... No problem here...
But...why every time I switch on axe fx3 (or every time I go on that particular preset) the wah is on?
I solved it months ago but...I forgot how! Please, help!

Save the preset with the wah block bypassed.

You probably have a momentary toe switch. The Axe doesn't know if it's on or off, only that you hit the switch. If the patch is saved with the wah on, you have to hit the switch to turn it off. Just bypass the wah and save the preset again.

If it's a latching switch, you may need to go into the modifier settings for the bypass and swap the Min/Max settings so bypassed and engaged are the opposite of where they are now.
