Ah, interesting. I'll have to go look for those couple of presets and switch them to Amp 1.

i, too, tend to stick with a standard grid template.

the only things that change are the amp and cab blocks for each preset/scene and occasionally the reverb block.

How do you do this?

The Noise Gate is always active but can be defeated by turning the THRESH control fully counterclockwise.

When playing user cabs and playing in mono, you can use Cab-Lab to mix the IRs into a single one, HiRes or UltraRes, and save precious CPU power.
