As an Australian now living in Michigan I enjoy celebrating Independence Day on the 4th of July. There is something fundamentally enjoyable about celebrating someone opening up a big can of whoop arse on the English (I won't use the term British for fear of offending the Scots, Irish and even Welsh)

Not sure the English police "Bobby" concept of "Stop, Or I Will Stay Stop Again" would be very effective in downtown Detroit either!!
