A fun song I did with 5153 Red

I would cut down on the gain quite a bit and double record guitars. They'll cut through better and you can turn them down in the mix. I'm no professional but I always get the results doing it. Overall, I like the track and AI like the direction.

Thanks Shadoe I appreciate it. I recorded the main lick over 2 tracks panned left and right then all of the leads in the center. I have read to record 4 tracks and pan 2 left and right then 2 more between 50 - 70%. I will have to try that.

In such a dense mix, stereo placement in the sound field will help clear it up. I really like what happens at 3:35. Sounds cool.

I like your drum sound, snare could possibly come up a little though.

I'm not sure what you've done, But the method that I personally find gives me the best results is:

1 take panned 100% left
1 take panned 100% right
Bass centre
Leads/harmonies/cleans centre

Another point to note is that the guitars are recorded in mono and that the left and right are separate recordings of the same part. The little inconsistencies of the waveform between the two will make it sound bigger and fatter.

The track itself is cool though man, I like it.
