I love it so far, I have to admit though I am a little overwhelmed about it all
there's so much going on with this new firmware and AE and all it's just amazing.
I want to ask a couple of questions about the upgrade process.
I have Axe FX II mark II and it was 9.0x and my MFC is also a mark II with FW 2.5x(the latest)
and I have 2 ME pedals attached an ep1 & sp1 .. I used them like this:
the sp1 as a volume with a boost switch .. and the ep1 as a wah pedal.
they both worked fine with my fw 9.x.
1) My extrn ctl 1 + 2 +3 doesn't work after updated the firmware, and I went in
and just added a volume block and selected extrn ctl 1 but it didn't work. I've probably
missed something, and I have not found a way to assign it via AE (I have about 20 minutes experience with AE so... hehe)
2) I did my update like this:
Dl the fractal bot + fw + presets
used fractal bot to upload the new FW
uninstalled the AE 1.0 and deleted the workspace folders (I'm on win 7 x64)
installed AE 1.9 and used it to upload the bank A B C presets
When it was all done I switched the machine off and on again,
exited the AE and started it back up.
(it's so cool to have this software I think it's awesome)
well my question about the update process is this, have I missed something??
do I need to do stuff with the IR / Cabs etc .. (I don't understand all of that yet)
3) question. If I find what I think is a bug in the software, should I create a new thread in "ae bugs and wishes"
and try to describe according to the sticky thread at the top?
or is it something the beta testers manage themselves?
I just like the idea of giving something back if I can contribute with something
Lastly, is there a known bug list somewhere I can check so that I don't report already known bugs.
I'm sure there is such a list but a lost track of it.
