A button to reset MIDI input

Hey.
I have a backing track device that changes AXE FX effects via MIDI.
But if I stop the device, the Axe FX might get stuck with a wah cranked, or input level reduced and etc.
And the only way I know how to reset them is to reboot the Axe FX, which isn't ideal during live shows because it makes that loud *pop* sound.

Any way I could add a button into my rack that would reset all MIDI params and EXT controls?

Just change presets... If the device is off, it's not currently sending values, and the sent values are relative to the active preset (except for maybe Global Volume controls).

I had this happen and in a panic I turned the pot on my guitar down then I realised that I could either reset the block but takes longer than just changing preset. I like the idea of a button better though.
