Hey guys, just a little something i recorded for my band's coming E.P. and did some experimenting with EQing (horrible job, very new to doing so) & reamping using Logic 9. All guitars done by yours truly, Axe-Fx II mki Enjoy guys

The guitars sound good. I like the ambient mid-rangey ambient sounds that you've got going on throughout over the rhythm guitars. They all sit nicely together.
There's some weird compression going on with the drums though. It sounds to me like you've got the kick hitting a drum-bus compressor hard which is messing with the cymbals. Just something to keep an eye on. :encouragement:

I'm surprised that the guitars sound decent lol but I agree with you, i used a SD2 preset that was given to me to try out and i do think that the bass drum has a lot of bus compression. my vocalist even said so himself but i couldn't find the right balance at the time of the mixing, i'm not proficient with all of this stuff as i'd like to be lol.
