I hooked up my AX8 to my Splawn Quick Rod using the 4 cable method. The effects sound good with the Splawns preamp as expected. I have the level 1 and 2 on the AX8 on 10 as suggested.
Now I set up a scene with the FX loop bypassed and an amp block set to low gain. It is LOUD! I can turn the master volume and the output on the amp block down to like .2 to get an acceptable volume level, and everything sounds great. Is that the right way to do it or am I doing something wrong? Seems weird to have the output that low.
