4 cable method with attenuator

So simple question maybe. I want to run the 4 cable method with a boogie mark v. but also use the rivera rock crusher attenuator with amp and 2x12 cab. able to play low volumes but open up the amp.. with 4 cable. any problems with this because of the attenuator involved and increased vol. on amp but low vol. with attn? there will be no damage to the involved setup, axe? thanks

Keep the channel volumes on the Mark V low so you don't overload the effects loop.

However, I have to ask...why an attenuator with a Mark V? That amp really isn't known for power tube distortion.
