4 Cable Method Output Levels

When using the 4 cable method, how do you know how to set the output 1 and 2 levels? Is there any particular way to achieve unity gain?

Unity gain is the volume knobs all the way up and all blocks set to 0 output level, except the amp block. If you add an amp block it is no longer unity gain, usually much louder. Just reduce the amp block volume until it is the same level, possibly down to -30 or more. If you don't use an amp block, you are probably at unity gain by default as you add blocks. But note that having multiple rows will add gain/level as well.

Thanks for the quick response! Just to be clear, when you say the volume knobs all the way up are you referring to the two font panel output level knobs?

Yup the front panel physical volume knobs.
