Adaptive Distortion and Multi-Overtone

Both interesting in demos I've seen.
I'm guessing the AF can already mimic these in some ways if you are smarter with signal theory than me.
Anyone have ideas? Even if we don't knock them out exactly I've always learned interesting things listening to smarter than me people talk about tweaking the AF...

The AD-2 is the much more interesting one. I suspect I could get some of the by just blending a quiet, compressed clean tone in with a raw louder uncompressed dirt tone, as that's the rough effect I hear, but its interesting that the compression level and the bass level seem to vary in some ways too.
