12 string double neck SG piezo

So I was thinking about buying one of those Epiphone double neck SG's and hotrodding it.
Anyone ever heard of a piezo being used for the 12 string on a double neck?
 
I'll probably never own a double neck. I haven't played live for years and when I do I like to travel light.
Your idea of changing the tune o matic saddles to piezo on the 12 string should offer more unique tones. Good luck with that project!
 
I've always wanted to do this too. Nearly pulled the trigger on a doubleneck a couple of times but each time I think I might get one the reality check hits me... When in all seriousness am I likely to get to play it at a gig? I'm hardly going to haul it around just for those few and far between moments when I might be called upon to play Stairway or Hotel California. *sigh*

Wouldn't get an SG though. I'd get the BC Rich Bich 12.
 
I just did some research and saw that FAS's hero Petrucci has done this, but obviously not with an SG. But it was a custom design, and not made for us mortals. :(
I think it would be a fun project to do on an SG, but it might be easier on a guitar without a tune-o-matic. What's the verdict?
