12.03b4 - Dimesion D Preview

Thanks for the preset. I downloaded the patch but when I use fractal bot to load to the Axe it come up blank in Axe Edit and no name in the Axe?
Could you check this cause all the other patches from Axechange work.
Thanks nickxmix

Worked great for me just now. I downloaded it and then used Fractal-Bot to send it to the active patch on my unit.

You need to be running 12.03b4.

Double check the file downloaded correctly for you. On my Mac:

Code:
/Users/ian/Downloads [ian@iancsimac] [19:50]
> ls -la p002040_TheD_20131221_232531.syx
-rw-r--r--@ 1 ian staff 6487 28 Dec 19:48 p002040_TheD_20131221_232531.syx

/Users/ian/Downloads [ian@iancsimac] [19:50]
> md5 p002040_TheD_20131221_232531.syx
MD5 (p002040_TheD_20131221_232531.syx) = 461824d7c2bbc7a2d8170cf45c0dc299

It should be 6487 bytes in size. If you can check the md5 sum of it, you should get the exact same value as I did above no matter what OS you're running on. If it doesn't match, your download is corrupt.

Well...if no one else is gonna post something I will. :)

Guitar used on the clips was a '95 PRS Standard with JS Moore custom pickups.

I'm sure you get the idea now...

If you want the effect blocks you can get the blk files in zip format here: http://j.mp/1lgaKlM -- drop those in to a folder under Axe-Edit/blocks/ and they'll show up in the blocks menu when you right-click on the grid in Axe-Edit. Ready to load in and use.

Thanks for this, sounds great waiting on 12.4. I will wait and back up and upgrade but this will be going in thanks much..!

Thanks man! Sounding really great!

If you happen to be a player who uses expression pedals to alter the sound of an effect, you can have all Dimension D modes with just moving your expression pedal back and forth. I use expression pedals to alter the sound in almost all effects I use. Gives you a lot more options when playing live ;)

I'll use External 1 as an example. You'll have the modes in the following order:
Dimension D Mode 1 (EXT1 at 0%)
Dimension D Mode 2 (EXT1 at ~15%-~48%)
Dimension D Mode 4 (EXT1 at ~52%-~85%)
Dimension D Mode 3 (EXT1 at 100%)

Rate
Source: External 1
Min: 0.250 Hz
Max: 0.500 Hz
Slope: 100%
Scale: 10.00
Damping: 200ms

Depth
Source: External 1
Min: 25%
Max: 50%
Mid: 100%
End: 0%
Slope: 50%
Scale: 2.250
Offset: 100%
Damping: 200ms

Leave other values to default.
