10.06 HiGain Comparison : 11 different amps - including presets

Hi guys,
I'm currently recording a great metal local band named Syrinx and was doing some reamping.
I thought the comparison of different hi-gain amps could interest some of you !
Here it is :


Amps used : RectoRed Vintage, DasMetal, Dizzy V4 4, Euro Uber, FAS Modern, Friedman HBE, Fryette D60 L, Plexi 100W High, PVH 6160 II, IIC+ Bright, RectoRed Modern.
Ok, now i see the list i think i missed 5153 Red, maybe for next time

This is very useful! Thanks for doing the comparison and posting it.
Everyone's taste differs, but for me the FAS seems to cut through the mix nicely. I also liked both the Rectos..

No, factory presets are not aimed for metal

Did you listen on the KRKs ? I also have KRKs and there's a lot of difference in each amp !
