AXE-FX as Guitar-to-MIDI converter

I assume the answer is no, but can the AXE-FX be used as a Guitar-to-MIDI converter ? I'm asking since it has the pitch detection capabilities and also can trigger an internal synth modules (I'm talking about the Ultra) so why don't extend it over the MIDI connection to control external synth...

Why FRFR and not just Flat Response ?

Putting post CAB effects (reverb, delay maybe, etc) aside, why there is a need for a Full Range speaker ? I mean, guitar amps do have limited freq range so why use Full Range to produce that ? I'm only asking that since I assume it would be much easier to get Flat Response on partial freq range...

Adjusting Cab sim IR's to a real Cab
