Same thing happened to me on the JS410 Orange and no matter how much tweaking I‘ve done it just will not go back to the way it was. I’m just staying on 20.04 and hoping for a future update to some of these amp models.

Why not just run both Out1/2 knobs at 100% and adjust levels via blocks? I leave both on 100% and never have any issue and this way I never have to worry about the physical knobs getting bumped/changed by accident.

Taming the High End via the Cab Block With One Slight Tweak - Any IR

Totally do this. For my favorite IR it's 83kHz and 8300kHz, just ended up on those numbers and they stuck. The high end cut is a must IMO.

Using ALTO TS212 or other PA type speaker and Parametric EQ block

Get the Alto raised up off of the floor. Put it on a chair or up on a PA pole mount. I run two of those and after you get them up off the floor, experiment to find the right IR and get the volume turned up they sound a lot less boomy.

I had a little time tonight so I made a recording of the FM3 through a Matrix GT1600FX into the Captor and also made a Profile of that. Compared them to a direct recording of the FM3. Same IR as the other recordings. Damned if I can tell a difference between any of them.

JVM sounding weird

Just for comparison the JS410 model does not seem to do this. I’m assuming the JS is that much different?

Thank you for the heads up. I’ve never experienced a real JVM to know the difference and knowing is half the battle. I’ll play around with those settings and see how it goes. This kind of direct feedback is exactly why people love your products, it’s not just the hardware and software. Thanks again.

Why would anyone sell their Axe-Fx 3 if it's so great?

I had mine listed on TGP yesterday and took the listing down this morning. Funny how I found this thread after I took the III down from TGP. I was going to sell the III and get a Mesa TC-100 head and use the FM3 for effects. Also the FM3 could possibly assuage my GAS now and then. I decided to...

Admittedly my patch has a strong Gate and a high Drive block but if you bypass those and use the Amp’s gain you still get a similar result. Just an FYI.

I did thanks, I think I just had it set too aggressive with the Drive block for that one Amp (Brit JVM OD1). I posted it because it wasn't doing the same thing with the other Amps in the preset and I just thought it was a strange quirk.

Yep, even with Drive bypassed I still got some cutting out. Tried lowering the Bias Excursion too but it didn't really help. Bypassed the Gate and set the Gate settings in the Input 1 block to -50 Thresh and 2.0 Ratio and it still sounds funny. With the Drive block bypassed the Amp isn't...

I'm not changing Reverb types, just the Channel on the Reverb block to B. Sounds like a known issue. First time owner. Just didn't expect that but good to know.
