Wish Randomizer for individual blocks

I think it may be a cool way to model component tolerances, specifically in the amp block. It would be cool I think if you could hit the button, and it would randomize some of the deep parameters constrained by what realistic values would be based real world component tolerances - 1% resistors...

Right. Here's the part I disagree with, and this is a hot take for this forum: presets aren't worth that much. In fact I think buying presets is a silly concept in general. I don't think your (or the platinum artist's) presets are worth protecting anyways.

Considering that people complain all the time about "I downloaded a preset from x and it doesn't sound like them", I don't think you have much to worry about, even if they did. Plus, whether you're the guy with 10+ platinum albums, or the guy playing at the local bar, there really isn't much...

Cygnus Beta - first impressions

Thank you! I am using the avalanche bass by impact studios, tuned an octave below the guitar. It is hard to balance that low of a frequency from becoming boomy so I erred on the side of focusing on the Cygnus chugs for this test. It is understandable if it is hard to hear in this demo.

Can I clone an Overdrive/Distortion effect?

You can capture the impulse response of your pedal and run it through the IR player in front of your amp. Another user here has captured a precision drive and it seems to work out well. One of the downsides are that you'll only be capturing a snapshot of your current drive settings.

Tuner Poll

I don't mind sharps or flats as it is now. One other question: although the tuner is perfectly usable now, can we have a toggle to turn on the numbers "7" and "8" for extended range guitars once the detected notes are below a certain threshold?

The idea of it is that's the default behavior, readily changed to have all scenes at channel A if so desired. I'm seeing that my idea isn't popular, and that's okay - this thread can be locked.

Please delete this if I have failed to catch this in the manual. A lot of times when I am creating a preset I tie the block's channel number/letter to the current scene. For example on my amp block, I'll usually have scene 1 be a distorted sound, scene 2 might be a mid gain sound, and scene 3...

New User. Please Tell me what I am doing wrong...

Funnily enough, turning the bass on the OD solved all of my issues - I'm used to OD's without EQ's on them and figured I didn't need to touch it. Thank you! And reading the user's manual shows that it is okay for the RED LED on the input to turn on as it is -6 dB. Sorry for the newbie questions.

Hi, I just received my Axe FX III yesterday. I've watched a couple of tone tutorial videos, and have been trying to create a modern metal/progressive metal sound. I've noticed my tone sounds very cardboard-y. I'm not sure if I'm just missing how to dial in the unit or if something is amiss...

One bug I've noticed with Axe Edit III is that when you upload an IR through the Fractal Bot, you have to close out of Axe Edit III and reopen it in order for it to re-read the user cabs and show it loaded. (Unless I am missing a reload button).
