FM9 won't load preset

New FM 9 4.0 Loaded the OFM9G layouts then cleared all the layouts to add a custom layout (Rosh Roslin) tutored me through for my FXIII. Tried then to import some presets into EMPTY slots by Brett Kingman (very cool dude with sweet settings). For some reason importing / dragging etc won't take...

Thank you Moke for your response. Yes you are right. The expertise I need is tot tweak Marshall sounds for SRV/Hendrix/Page sounds. Set up scenes to properly utilize effects in proper order, and the most efficient way to organize the FC-12.

I have one. Seems to feed back in a screechy way as opposed to that note you want to just ring and begin to hit the overtones...any tips on how to get it to respond better? I used to use an AXE 8 now I have AXE FX III

UPPER and LOWER limits on AXE for FC - where are they now?

I'm up too late as well...I don't get it. I saw rosh explain too quickly now I can't find the video. My first preset I built was on an empty block 0396 now I want to toggle to 0400 and back. I'm not getting the upper limit and lower limit and preset load...I'm bushed...any help specifically?

Wish Color change option for FC hold

I came here to find out how to assign a different color when I hold a button to engage B effect. But it's not possible??? Wha??? When I'm tap dancing and trying to play the next lick it would be nice to know which A or B I'm on, or when the effect is off, I need to know which one will engage...

Thanks so much UG for replying. Not sure what I did but I reset and started over. I think I got it....finally. Assigning the hold to B...didn't seem to be that hard once I 'saw the light'. Thanksagain.

Right. I do as well on my AX8. For some reason it didn't seem to work when I started with the verb. It kept defaulting to a verb I didn't choose. You can do this within the same scene right? Is there some channel trick? Global trick? These little things like had to figure how to mute the...

Thanks U-G was dealing with the 'hold' button to change to a different verb and assigning it to a 'toggle' A-B. For some reason as soon as I did that the FC-12 button light went off. I'm still learning. I think the different reverb sound needs to be on a different scene if using the same...

Moved from AX8 to Axe Fx III...

Keeping the AX8 as a 'back-up-...Just unpacked the AXFXIII & FC-12. Whew! Getting (ever so slowly) the lay of the land...no more 'banks' like AX8 where I hit the top right button, they show up and I hit the appropriate 1-8 #. I guess that's now called 'layouts' haven't tried switching from...

FC-12 secondary effect disables light?

Fix? for FC-12 light for some reason becomes disabled when I assign two (reverb) sounds to A and B channels. Just opened AXFX III and FC-12...Whew! Latest & greatest 1:30 am till I'm blurry in the learning curve process... Thank you in advance

Sustain without compression?

Thanks! Just checked Pete Thorn review on CLR. Good sustain/feedback with these? I've been using a Yamaha DXR 10 but haven't been able to get any 'good' feedback only squeal with my AX8 (no room for compressor help with other effects needed) ...but now moving to AXE FXIII and hoping to get...

Last show I turned the Yamaha DXR10 upright (on it's end) tweeter on bottom, not in wedge facing up...that seemed to work. I may try as well to rig some deflection of the tweeter at some point to experiment. Can't just keep on swapping gear

I have an AX8. I mostly use a plexi sound. I run stereo XLR to the house then 1/4 inch to a monitor--tried the QSC K10.2 also the Yamaha DXR 10 -neither work for shit to create that long sustaining desirable feedback. Instead I get squeal -- very annoying. I want to get rid of them. A Sound...
