    Headphones anyone?

I enjoy playing all hours of the day - the rest of the house, not so much. Found the trick below in another Fractal thread and thought I'd share it. (Thanks Cliff) Try this: Make a patch with no cab block. After the amp put a Filter block. Reset to make sure all parameters are at default...

How to deal with a serial effect loop in my amp?

Just plug and play. Parallel loops give a mix of wet and dry so not advisable to send an already wet/dry mix through.

    Amp in the Room?

Not meaning to resurrect a dead post, but I tried this on my FX8 MkII (which is wired up to a JC-40). The JC-40 is a bright, snappy, amp, I put a pair of Li'l Buddies in it to tame the highs. FX8 Considerations

With the level of tweakablity the FX8 affords - I don't know that there is a better solution to finding one's own tone. The FX8 is as transparent as any pedal out there. Several have complained about the lack of firmware updates but when was the last time you updated a conventional pedal...

    New FX8?

I’ve had mine for 3 days now. A little bit of a learning curve but it isn’t that hard to program; at least not when using FX8-Edit. The effects are absolutely awesome. I haven’t had this much fun learning a new piece of equipment in a long time.
