Have you tried it with the AmpliFIRE yet? I just ordered an AmpliFIRE. What are you opinions on it? I've read some threads on the Gear Page. Just looking for some others opinions. Pro's/Con's.

Second Wave Of Shipments??

Yeah, I didn't get on the list until February. I did ask to see if I would get an invite for the 1st "major" shipment that goes out and was told yes. I'm assuming that's the units that will be made from the parts coming by boat from China.

I plan on using the EV-5 and the Boss FS-6 when I get my FX8. Will the Boss FS-6 work to control two different functions? I'd like to be able to control the tap tempo globally and something else of my choosing.

"No date has been announced buit it hopefully will be soon." That's what I got yesterday. Doesn't sound very optimisitc. Glad I haven't sold off my old pedalboard. Think it's going to be awhile for the 1st large production run.

FX8 Preset Mode Question/Wish

Thanks for the reply, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. I need instant switching without pressing and holding and it's nice to be able to step on a footswitch to access your fx preset, then press the same switch to go back to your global preset. You don't have to move your foot...

What I'm ultimately trying to say is I'd like to run the FX8 in "sticky" preset mode, have my global preset be just my raw distorted tone from my amp no fx, when I press a preset footswitch the first time it goes to that preset with whatever fx are saved to that preset, press the same preset...

No, I'm talking about when you have it in "sticky" preset mode where each footswitch remains to select a different preset without reverting to the Scene mode.

It would be great to have a "Global" preset. When you are locked into preset mode have the ability to activate the global preset on any preset switch should by pressing it a 2nd time. Can anyone verify that it will or can have this ability?
