I connected a MIDI Monitor to capture what is being sent. The first file is the program change sent by the H&K FSM foot controller. The 2nd contains the data sent from the Axe-Fx with the MFC connected. The 3rd file contains the data sent from just the MFC acting as a standalone MIDI controller...

The GM40 is listening on MIDI Channel 1. I have connected the MFC both to the axefx and just to the GM40. When using the MFC by itself, the program change changes to the correct preset on the GM40. However, the effects are not active and the channel volume goes to a very low volume, which makes...

Mark V 4 Cable Method

Chris, I must have been thinking of some other situation where I was having clipping issues. Tonight I turned input 1 and 2 to about 75%, and the boost/pad on both outputs to +12db. No clipping or any other issues...... Also I could swear that tonight is best my rig has ever sounded ......

I don't think there is any way I can get input 2 up to 50%. That one has to come down quite a bit or else I get some bad clipping.

I have been fighting trying to get this to work with my Mark V since I received my XL. I swear I had it working with the 18 beta firmware, but swear things changed with 18.04 (i realize that's probably not possible, but it seems that way). Anyway, here is what I have done and it seems to work...

I'm going to be ordering the MFC here rather soon. I currently run 4cm with a Mesa Mark V using an RJM Mini Amp Gizmo to change channels. So my question is this: If I set up a preset with several scenes to activate/deactivate effects and so forth, is there a way to also send a different MIDI...

Question for Mark V owners

I am running my Ultra via the 4 cable method. It seems that i really have to crank my output volumes on output1 and output2 to get usable volume. When I use my GSP1101, i can't go past halfway on the output or it will blow your head off. On the Ultra, I have output 2 almost dimed and output 1...
