Is there a resource that categorizes amps by type?

That list was one of my additions to the guide. I'm glad someone else find it useful. :) Something else I like to do is use the colour coding in Axe Edit to tag amps of a certain type. For example, I've tagged the "vox type" amps as purple, tweed fenders as yellow etc.

Rename EMPTY User Cab

From memory, you should be able to rename cabs in Axe Edit through the Tools -> Manage Cabs menu, then right clicking on the appropriate cab and choosing Rename (but I'm not in front of Axe Edit so I may have that slightly wrong.....)

Interesting Cab Combinations

How do you go about finding an IR that appeals to you? Do you audition IRs against a 'neutral' sounding amp, or do you just know when you come across something special? Thanks.

Underrated Amp Models

I have had the Axe for a couple of years now and have just discovered the Orange amps. My favourite is the Orange AD30 (Clean and Dirty channels), especially when paired with TheAmpFactory's TruBrit IRs.
