I actually set my Tuner to the top right button (I think it is ‘Modify’) on the Helix. That way I can do Tap tempo on the bottom switch. I believe you can only do the HOLD button with a sysex message, which the Helix does not do. Someone correct me if I’m wrong on this... Regarding your tuner...

No sound from Mac by USB

After you turn on the III, unplug your USB cable from the Mac and then plug back in. IF that doesn't work, try going into your Mac sound settings and advanced. You'll see two speakers that you can click on, change them to OUT 3 and 4 (left and right, respectively). Then click each speaker...

Won't Get Fooled Again update inquiry...

Some folks on here made an awesome "Won't Get Fooled Again" patch for the II and I'm about to add this song to my setlist and converted with FracTool. The first tones that come out are out of wack...has anyone worked on this? Attaching the latest file that I had, as well as converted.

I believe JT just has his setup similar to mine. He has the Tuner button on the Helix set to turn the Tuner on on the Axe III, same as mine. I'm looking to see if the Helix will display tuner info from the Axe III...I ordered another MIDI cable and will test. I know some higher end MIDI...

You are right...he only hits the wah on for a few seconds right before the end... I did notice that the chord progressions after the intro are in the bridge position, which I thought was interesting...good to watch it on the iPad Air where I can see it a little better!

I've seen him several times and I almost think his clean tone is louder. You could be right though. Listen to the last 30 seconds of Trademark and let me know what you think...there's something there that I just cannot pinpoint, and I think it is where the sustain differs...maybe, maybe not ;-)

Well, compare them side by side and you'll see it's not just one or two things missing! Yes, the preamp tube types make a HUGE difference! I play some Eric Johnson stuff and spent MONTHS dialing in the preset (I'm STILL working on it), and moving the block to the AX8 made some HUGE changes in...

I find it interesting that you have to 'pledge' to get presets from a fellow user...Curious to know if he ever used someone else's presets on here and never 'pledged' to them...I thought this was a community?

Help - Axe Fx II XL keeps disconnecting from computer/axe edit

I've never purchased regular guitar cables from there, but we make a device that mimics a USB thumb drive for CNC machine DNC and use the mono price cables. Haas machines have a built-in 15' cable that goes to the front of the machine and then we use another 10' cable to go from the front...

What router are you using with the X32?

Hi-jacking the thread a bit...sorry...anyone that is trying the x32 with an express...tell me the exact model of express and whether it's dhcp or fixed ip, and how it's configured. ill see what I can do to help.

That's REALLY strange because I have actually used the x32, along with my MacBookPro and a Chauvet controller system to run sound and lighting, all with an Airport Express at home for testing...never had any issues and it was all plug-and-play. I bought the same wrt router for like $2 at...

I was speaking about the Apple products you are so quick to give your opinion on, considering he didn't ask about Apple routers specifically...(just Apple connected devices)...I would say millions of others disagree with you ;-)

What router are you using with the X32?

I had an X32 and went to Goodwill and bought a $2 Linksys that worked perfectly. It's actually still upstairs and acts as my extender. (We have 10 different devices connected and at any time I am D->24mbps / U->4.5mbps)...on a 24meg uVerse connection...I've 'speed-tested' on all the devices...
